Job Description
The Pre-Sales Executive will support the sales and business development teams by understanding customer requirements, developing solution approaches, and providing technical and solution consulting support throughout the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in a product engineering or technology services environment, with exposure to areas such as Digital Transformation, Enterprise Application Development, Mobile Application Development, and Software Testing. The role requires a combination of technical understanding, business acumen, customer engagement, and strong communication skills to translate customer challenges into compelling technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand customer requirements and develop relevant technical solutions. Participate in customer meetings to understand business challenges, technical requirements, and solution expectations. Prepare and deliver technical presentations, solution walkthroughs, product demonstrations, and PoC engagements. Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to develop solution architectures, technical proposals, and RFP/RFI responses. Analyze customer pain points and industry requirements to recommend appropriate technology and service solutions. Support the preparation of proposals, statements of work, technical documentation, and solution presentations. Coordinate with internal teams to validate solution feasibility, effort estimates, timelines, and technical dependencies. Act as a liaison between sales, customers, and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout the pre-sales process. Build strong working relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends across Digital Transformation, Enterprise Applications, Mobile Development, Cloud, and Testing Services. Support commercial discussions by providing technical inputs, assumptions, and feasibility assessments. Participate in client workshops, industry events, webinars, and conferences as required. Support the sales team in identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling relevant technology solutions. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA will be an added advantage. 3–6 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, technical sales, or a similar customer-facing technology role. Experience working with product engineering or IT services companies is preferred. Good understanding of Digital Transformation, Enterprise Applications, Mobile Application Development, Software Testing, and related technologies. Experience in preparing technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presentations, and solution demonstrations. Ability to understand customer business challenges and translate them into appropriate technology solutions. Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively with sales, engineering, delivery, and marketing teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in a business-oriented context. Knowledge or prior experience in the Telecom and Communications domain will be an added advantage. Willingness to travel for customer meetings, workshops, conferences, and industry events as required.
