Job Description
About GxP Technologies India We are a deep tech technology firm specializing in AI-driven solutions across healthcare, industrial manufacturing (including semiconductors), and automotive sectors—offering a complete AI stack from edge devices to cloud-based software. As part of Growth xPartners, a Japanese company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, we operate from Trivandrum and boast a diverse, global team rooted in a values-driven performance culture. Our cross-functional team drives innovation in an early-stage, fast-growing environment with a clear long-term vision to become the industry leader in every domain we serve. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager with strong IT delivery expertise, full-stack architectural skills, and Japanese language proficiency to manage and deliver complex projects for Japan-based clients. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in customer-facing roles, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering projects in domains such as Automotive, Semiconductor, or Healthcare. This role calls for a hands-on technologist who can define solution architecture, guide design decisions, and remain credible in deep technical discussions while managing end-to-end project delivery. Key Responsibilities ? Technical Leadership & Architecture: Own full-stack solution architecture, design, and deployment decisions, and act as the final technical authority on the project. Conduct architecture and code reviews, and act as an active technical mentor, effectively supporting team members’ technical development. ? Project & Delivery Management: Manage project schedules, deliverables, quality, and cost aspects in strict alignment with organizational goals. Conduct daily project tracking and controlling to ensure timely and quality delivery from initiation to closure. ? Risk Management: Identify project risks proactively, develop robust mitigation plans, and resolve ongoing issues effectively. ? Executive Reporting: Provide comprehensive weekly status reports to executive management. Track project progress, milestones, and KPIs using relevant project management tools. ? Quality & Process Maintenance: Maintain established organizational processes and ensure strict adherence to SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices, security standards, and quality policies. ? Stakeholder & Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for Japanese clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication. ? Resource & Budget Management: Allocate resources effectively, manage budgets, and meticulously monitor project costs. ? Technology & Innovation: Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns (cloud, microservices, APIs) and recommend adoption where it improves delivery quality, scalability, or cost efficiency.
Skills
Required Qualifications & Experience 8–12 years of overall IT experience, combining a strong foundation in full-stack architecture with extensive project management expertise. Proven experience managing and delivering complex IT projects, preferably in Automotive, Semiconductor, or Healthcare domains. Experience working with Japanese clients is a strong advantage. Japanese Language Proficiency: NLPT/JLPT N2 or above (Preferred). Prior experience working in Japan for a few years is an added advantage. Strong experience in direct customer interaction and stakeholder management. Hands-on Architecture Experience: Demonstrated track record of designing and delivering full-stack solutions — front-end, back-end, database, integration, and cloud/infrastructure — not only overseeing them at a program level. Technical & Design Reviews: Experience leading architecture/design and code reviews, defining non-functional requirements (scalability, security, performance), and making build-vs-buy or technology-stack decisions. Technical & Professional Skills Strong technical skills in the architecture, design, and deployment of full-stack software solutions. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication (verbal & written), negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, etc.). Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and global environment. Working knowledge of modern architecture patterns (microservices, APIs, event-driven design) and hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), along with DevOps/CI-CD practices and application security standards. Certifications (Preferred) PMP, CSM, TOGAF, or a relevant cloud/solutions-architect certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are a plus.
