Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Executive to manage the day-to-day finance functions of our client, a distribution company based in Singapore. This role involves developing and maintaining financial controls and systems in alignment with organizational requirements. The Finance Executive will provide financial management, expertise, and guidance, ensuring effective monitoring, control, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Consolidate and finalize the organization's books of accounts. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. Maintain a thorough understanding of statutory and legal aspects related to payroll and income tax compliance. Oversee month-end closing processes and corporate reporting. Lead and coordinate audits, preparing necessary documents for tax auditors to ensure timely completion. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements. Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions. Oversee and coordinate annual internal, external, and statutory audits, collaborating with auditors to resolve any issues. Conduct finance, accounting, and business analysis, providing insights to management.Skills
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficient technical accounting skills and expertise. Excellent financial analysis and reporting capabilities. Familiarity with financial controls and risk management practices. Highly computer literate, with proficiency in financial and IT systems. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Proficiency in computerized accounting packages (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with effective presentation abilities. Candidates with 5-6 years of relevant experience. Good to have: Prior experience managing international accounts. Familiarity with advanced financial modeling and forecasting techniques. Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Experience in a multi-currency accounting environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. We run a high-throughput platform processing massive daily transactions and are actively executing a multi-tenant migration strategy. We are looking for a hands-on Senior / Lead Software Engineer to serve as our primary technical anchor on the office floor in Trivandrum. Working directly alongside our leadership team, you will translate strategic architectural visions into clean, maintainable code, mentor a growing team of junior engineers, enforce coding standards, and eliminate technical debt. This is a hands-on execution role — you will be writing code, reviewing PRs, building automated pipelines, and driving daily engineering excellence in close alignment with technical leadership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Tactical Execution & Ownership:Take end-to-end operational ownership of core platform modules — code quality, maintainability, performance, and clear system documentation. • Migration & Refactoring:Drive the hands-on transition of legacy client setups into our modern microservices ecosystem (TypeScript, Go, MySQL) following approved architectural blueprints and zero-downtime data migration strategies. • Standards & Rigor:Eliminate anti-patterns and hacks. Enforce automated testing (unit/integration), strict code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and proper observability across the team. • In-Office Mentorship:Pair-program with and guide junior engineers daily to level up their debugging skills, design pattern usage, and code hygiene. • Documentation & Async Sync:Maintain detailed system architecture diagrams, API specs, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to enable smooth asynchronous alignment with remote executive leadership. • Floor Anchor:Serve as the daily technical lead and primary go-to person on the office floor, keeping team velocity high while coordinating closely with leadership on key technical decisions.
