Job Description
The Technical Engineering Manager provides hands-on technical leadership, line management and delivery oversight for a single team. Reporting to an Engineering Manager (EM), this role is responsible for the performance and technical excellence of an engineering team that is becoming increasingly more AI-augmented. You will work with the EM lead the transition, ensuring that the team leverages AI agents to maximize productivity while maintaining the highest standards of architectural integrity, security, and code quality. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Anchor Hands-on Technical Leadership: You lead from the front by remaining deeply hands-on with the codebase, tackling the most complex technical challenges while establishing the high standards and best practices the team follows. Architectural Integrity: Own the team-level architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and align with global engineering standards. Practical AI Application: Maintain a strong understanding of how AI tools and workflows can be applied to improve efficiency. While AI expertise is a bonus, you are expected to guide the team in practical AI adoption where it adds clear value. 2. Line Management & People Development Mentorship & Coaching: Provide direct line management to a team of engineers. You focus on their professional growth, helping them navigate technical hurdles and career milestones. High-Performance Culture: Foster a high-trust, accountable environment. You conduct regular 1-on-1s, update Skills Matrices, and identify high-potential talent within your team. Recruitment: Lead technical interviews to identify and attract top-tier engineering talent that complements the team’s needs. 3. Product & Portfolio Alignment Roadmap Execution: Work closely with Product Managers to translate high-level product roadmaps at the Portfolio level into actionable technical plans. Continuous Improvement: Proactively use data to continuously improve ways of working and quality, identifying bottlenecks in delivery and implementing technical or process-based solutions. Resource Optimization: Manage capacity and technical resourcing to ensure the team is equipped to meet delivery commitments without compromising code healthSkills
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record as a Senior Engineer, including at least 1 year of experience leading and managing teams of 5 or more engineers. Architectural Stewardship: Strong ability to contribute to the design of scalable systems and ensure that global engineering standards are consistently applied and followed across the team. Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using data to continuously improve ways of working and quality. AI Literacy and Application: A good understanding of how AI tools can be practically applied to software engineering to enhance productivity and quality will be a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience in handling finance functions within organisational environment.Candidates with prior experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm will be given preference. Key Responsibilities * Handle day-to-day accounting entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. * Verify supplier invoices, payment entries, and other accounting transactions. * Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and petty cash. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances. * Handle KENLAND filing, STPI monthly/annual returns, and related documentation. * Process payroll, salary calculations, and employee reimbursements. * Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and compliance reviews. * Manage banking operations, fund transfers, and corporate finance activities. * Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial analysis. * Maintain proper documentation of vouchers, invoices, and financial records.
SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER
TrivandrumWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to monitor and maintain the stability, availability, and performance of enterprise healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for continuously monitoring production environments, identifying issues proactively, coordinating with cross-functional teams for timely resolution, and ensuring high system reliability and uptime. Key Responsibilities 1. Production System Monitoring Continuously monitor application performance, databases, servers, integrations, message queues, and APIs. Track system health metrics such as uptime, response time, CPU utilization, memory usage, disk space, database locks, backup status, and interface failures. Ensure the overall stability and availability of production systems. 2. Alert Management Configure and maintain monitoring alerts for critical system events. Classify alerts based on severity (Critical, High, Medium, and Low). Escalate incidents promptly to the appropriate technical teams following established escalation procedures. 3. Incident Management & Coordination Act as the first point of technical monitoring during production incidents. Coordinate with Application Support, Infrastructure, Database Administration, Development, QA, and Project Management teams to ensure timely issue resolution. Maintain incident timelines, support Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and confirm successful issue closure. 4. Monitoring Dashboards & Reporting Maintain environment-specific monitoring dashboards. Prepare and share daily system health reports. Generate weekly reports on system availability, uptime, incident trends, and recurring issues. 5. Proactive Issue Detection Identify potential system issues before they impact end users. Monitor slow-running database queries, failed scheduled jobs, integration failures, and abnormal transaction patterns. Recommend permanent fixes for recurring issues by collaborating with development and infrastructure teams. 6. Go-Live & Production Support Provide dedicated monitoring support during application deployments, production releases, and go-live activities. Closely monitor critical business workflows, integrations, and application performance during deployment windows. Ensure system stability throughout release activities. 7. Automation & Continuous Improvement Develop scripts and automation tools for routine health checks, service validation, log analysis, restart verification, and notifications. Continuously improve monitoring processes to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
