Correspondence Monitoring & Coordination: Monitor and manage all underwriting- and claims-related correspondence, ensuring timely responses, accurate follow-ups, and smooth coordination across internal teams. Responsibilities will be divided between team members with designated backups. Policy & Quotation Management: Review and process policy declarations, quotations, and certificate issuance while ensuring alignment with underwriting guidelines and the company’s risk appetite. BDX (Bordereaux) Management: Acknowledge incoming bordereaux, support consolidation, prepare reports, and assist with reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and transparency. Claims Handling: Support end-to-end claims management including documentation review, claim chasers, escalation alerts, preparing supervisor briefings, and communicating evaluation outcomes clearly and promptly. Data & Register Updates: Maintain and update the Insurance Registers and other operational logs with high accuracy to support audits and regulatory compliance. Declaration Analysis: Carry out declaration analysis and prepare periodic reports providing insights for underwriting and portfolio risk monitoring. Sanctions Screening: Conduct sanctions checks in line with internal procedures and financial crime prevention standards. Website Compliance Checks: Perform periodic website audits to ensure regulatory compliance, accuracy of product information, and alignment with approved wording. T&C Review Support: Assist in reviewing product terms & conditions (T&Cs) and support internal audits to ensure consistency with legal and operational requirements.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between our business stakeholders and technical teams. Your primary mission will be to analyze complex business processes, gather and document clear requirements, and translate data into actionable insights that drive strategic improvements and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate possesses a mix of strong analytical capabilities, technical aptitude, and exceptional communication skills to manage diverse stakeholder expectations. Core Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and document detailed business and functional requirements (BRDs/FRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria. Process Analysis & Optimization: Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or gaps, and design optimized "to-be" workflows to improve operational efficiency. Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources using [SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.] to identify trends, support business cases, and measure project success. Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical complexities into clear, business-friendly concepts for stakeholders, and vice versa for the engineering or development teams. Project Delivery Support: Work closely with project managers and developers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure solutions align with original business objectives. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in or lead the UAT process, including defining test scenarios, coordinating testing cycles with business users, and ensuring defects are tracked and resolved. What We Are Looking For Experience: [2-4 years] of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar analytical role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (advanced Excel is a must; [SQL, Python, or R] is highly preferred) and data visualization software ([Tableau, Power BI]). Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum or Waterfall project management frameworks. Experience with tools like [Jira, Confluence, Asana] is a plus. Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: An analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex, ambiguous business problems into structured, manageable components. Communication & Facilitation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of facilitating workshops and presenting insights to stakeholders. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
