Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer (Fresher) to join our QA team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding application requirements, preparing test scenarios and test cases, executing functional testing, and identifying and reporting defects. Understand business and functional requirements. Prepare and execute test scenarios and test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing. Identify, document, and track software defects. Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes. Maintain proper testing documentation and reports. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members. Ensure software applications meet quality and functional requirements. Participate in test planning and contribute to improving testing processes.Skills
Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies. Understanding of test case preparation and test execution. Basic knowledge of defect/bug life cycle. Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and UI testing. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and documentation skills. Familiarity with any bug tracking or test management tool is an added advantage. ISTQB certification is a plus. Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is an added advantage. Eligibility Freshers / 0 to 1 year of experience in Software Testing or QA. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. The role will be responsible for identifying, assessing and monitoring key business risks and ensuring appropriate controls and mitigation plans are in place. Key Responsibilities Conduct risk assessments and identify potential operational, financial, technology and business risks. Maintain and regularly update the Risk Register, including risk owners, ratings, controls and mitigation actions. Perform RCSA (Risk & Control Self-Assessment) and evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls. Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and risk thresholds. Support the development and implementation of risk appetite and risk tolerance frameworks. Identify operational risk exposures and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Assess IT, cybersecurity and technology-related risks and coordinate with relevant teams on remediation. Conduct third-party/vendor risk assessments and monitor vendor-related risks. Monitor risk mitigation plans and ensure timely closure of identified issues. Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR) and operational resilience activities.
