Key Responsibilities: Test Strategy & Planning: Develop detailed test plans and strategies based on project requirements, functional specifications, and business goals. Ensure test coverage and that testing efforts are aligned with the overall project timeline. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance on best practices, technical expertise, and support in test case design, execution, and defect management. Test Case Design & Review: Oversee the creation and execution of test cases and test scripts, ensuring they are comprehensive, traceable, and aligned with project requirements. Review test artifacts for accuracy and completeness. Test Execution: Coordinate and monitor test execution, ensuring testing is done as per the plan. Track progress, manage test environments, and ensure the timely completion of testing activities. Defect Management: Manage the defect lifecycle, from logging and tracking to resolution. Risk Management: Identify risks related to testing and product quality, raise issues proactively, and work on mitigation strategies.
