Job Description
Ferns IT Solutions Private Limited is looking for a motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for a 3-6 months office-based internship. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have completed a Digital Marketing course and are looking to gain hands-on experience in real marketing campaigns. Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered a permanent position in the company. Internship Details Position: Digital Marketing Intern Location: Trivandrum (On-site) Training Duration: 3 to 6 months (duration may be reduced based on the candidate’s skill level) Stipend: No salary during the training period Training Provided: Yes – structured, hands-on training with real project exposure Post-Training Opportunity: Successful candidates will be offered a permanent position in the company based on performance and capability Performance Policy: If the candidate fails to meet performance expectations during training, the internship may be discontinued Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook Create and schedule social media content Support SEO activities and website optimisation Assist in content creation including blogs and marketing materials Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis Support email marketing and social media campaigns Monitor and report campaign performance Requirements: Completed a Digital Marketing course or certification Good English communication skills (written and spoken) Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is an advantage Ability to work independently and as part of a team Training & Future Opportunity: Hands-on training will be provided on live projects. Based on performance during the internship, candidates may be offered a full-time permanent position in the company. Interview Process 1 or 2 rounds of interviews (technical and/or HR) will be conducted before final selection
Skills
Good English communication skills (both written and spoken) Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and keyword research Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook Ability to create engaging social media content and captions Basic knowledge of Canva or similar graphic design tools Understanding of content writing and blogging Basic knowledge of digital advertising (Google Ads / Meta Ads) Familiarity with Google Analytics or website analytics tools Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
