Junior Cloud Support Engineer Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cloud Support Engineer to support cloud-based infrastructure and services. The candidate will assist in monitoring systems, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining cloud environments, and providing technical support to clients or internal teams. Freshers or candidates with internship experience are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities Monitor cloud infrastructure and services for performance and availability Provide technical support for cloud-related issues and user requests Troubleshoot networking, server, and application problems Assist in configuring and maintaining cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Support system backups, security updates, and patch management Document issues, solutions, and technical procedures Work with senior engineers to deploy and manage cloud resources Maintain system uptime and ensure smooth cloud operations Respond to support tickets and escalate complex issues when required
Skills
Required Skills Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, VPN, Firewall) Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing concepts Good communication and teamwork skills Understanding of IT support and ticketing systems Willingness to learn new technologies Preferred Skills Knowledge of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals Familiarity with Docker or virtualization tools Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals are a plus Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, BSc CS, BTech, or related field Freshers and candidates with internship experience can apply
