Junior Technical Support Engineer Job Summary A Junior Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing basic technical assistance to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. The role involves supporting systems, networks, and users while learning industry-standard IT practices. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to employees/customers through phone, email, or remote access Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications Assist in system updates, maintenance, and backups Support printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices Monitor and resolve basic connectivity and system problems Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff Maintain technical documentation and support records Assist users with password resets, email setup, and software configuration Ensure systems follow company security policies and procedures
