About the job: Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Active Directory management, network administration, system support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. This role requires strong technical expertise along with the ability to provide effective user support and maintain IT assets securely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: 1. Active Directory Management • Manage users, groups, and permissions in Active Directory • Handle user account creation, deletion, and access control • Implement and maintain Group Policies (GPOs) 2. Network Administration • Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure • Troubleshoot network issues including connectivity, DNS, and DHCP • Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls 3. System & Hardware Support • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and printers • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues • Perform regular system updates, patching, and maintenance 4. User Support & Monitoring • Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users • Manage IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution • Monitor system performance and user activities 5. Office IT Inventory Management • Maintain records of IT assets (hardware and software) • Track inventory, procurement, and asset lifecycle • Ensure proper documentation of all IT resources 6. Security & Compliance • Implement basic IT security measures and best practices • Manage antivirus, patching, and backup processes • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies
Skills
Required Skills: • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server • Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) • Experience in hardware troubleshooting and system support • Familiarity with IT inventory management tools and processes • Basic knowledge of firewalls and IT security practices • Good communication and problem-solving skills Soft Skills: • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities • Effective communication and user-handling skills • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
